Here's Why You Aren't Making Progress

You've run program after program They all promise results. You finish 12 weeks and still don't know if you did it right or wasted three months.
Your form is a moving target You watch YouTube videos. You film yourself squatting. You still can't tell if it's good enough to add weight.
Life derails you constantly You miss a week. The program doesn't account for it. You restart from scratch, again, and wonder if you'll ever actually make progress.
You've been stuck at the same numbers for months Your deadlift hasn't moved in six months. Could be programming. Could be technique. Could be recovery. You have no idea.

How This Actually Works

Ground Zero Strength coaching: custom programming, form coaching on every lift you send in, and a progression system designed to add weight to the bar week after week.

1Onboard

We start with a consultation to understand your training history, injury background, and schedule constraints. Then you'll complete onboarding—payment, waivers, and TurnKey Coach profile setup. Finally, you'll submit lift videos (squat, bench, press, deadlift) so we know exactly where you're starting.

2The Method

  • Programming written for you — based on your schedule, injury history, and where you're starting from
  • Form checks on every lift — send videos weekdays, get feedback so you know if you're doing it right
  • Aggressive progression — designed to add weight consistently and make measurable progress
  • Adjustments when life happens — travel, injury, busy weeks get accounted for

3Standards

You hit real strength benchmarks. Numbers that prove the program worked. Then we transition to maintenance programming so you stay strong.

This Is For You If...

You've Trained Before

You know the basics. Inconsistency keeps you from making progress. You need structure and someone watching your lifts.

You're Coming Back from Injury

You got cleared to train but don't trust yourself to program around old injuries. You need eyes on your form.

You Overthink Everything

You've read too much. Every session feels like a decision tree. You need someone to tell you what to do.

You're Training for Longevity

You want to stay strong and move well for decades, not just hit PRs. You need programming that builds strength without breaking you down.

You Do Other Sports

Runner, cyclist, weekend warrior. You want strength training that fits around your sport, not competes with it.

You're Ready to Commit

You'll show up 3-4 days a week, follow the program, and send in lift videos. You're done dabbling.

What to Expect

Most clients who stick with the program hit strength standards in 5-6 months. You'll know your form is solid, you'll have a system that works, and you'll actually be stronger.

3-4x Training days per week
5-6 Months to standards

"22 lbs lean mass. PRs beyond my 20s. Pain-free squats after a year of Sam's coaching."

Started training at mid-40s after years of "exercising with weights" without progress. Gained 22 lbs lean mass, hit new PRs on bench, deadlift, and press, and solved a hip issue that kept him from squatting.

— James, mid-40s

"At 60, after double knee surgeries, I went from 95 lb half-squats to 235 lbs full depth in less than a year."

Started at 60 years old with chronic back pain, balance issues, and feared permanent decline. Back pain gone, balance restored, squatting 235 lbs after thinking he'd never walk normally again.

— Allan, 60 years old

"I'm the strongest I've ever been in my life. About to do my first powerlifting competition."

Started as a "skinny kid" who quit lifting after high school. Came back in 2021, gained 40 lbs following a free program, then hired Sam. Competed in his first powerlifting meet at the strongest he's ever been.

— Tom

"I've gotten stronger. I've hit PRs in my three main lifts. Sam taught me about RP programming and it's been a big help."

Trained solo in his home gym for 3 years, felt stuck. Hired Sam to take training to the next level. Hit PRs in all three main lifts in 3 months and learned proper programming structure.

— Nick

"I couldn't low-bar squat properly before working with Sam. That was the biggest technique jump I made. Numbers started improving pretty quickly after we got the form figured out."

Self-taught for 2 years using Rippetoe's book, but stalled with form issues and tendonitis flare-ups. Fixed low-bar squat, worked through injuries, made progress on all lifts in 6-8 months with custom programming.

— Matt

"Within 6 months I added about 100 lbs on my squat and deadlift, 50 lbs on my bench and overhead press. More progress than I'd made in several years."

Lifted for several years but stalled, just recycling programs without progress. Needed results before military school. Added 100 lbs to squat (400+) and deadlift (500+), 50 lbs to bench (300+) and press (200+) in 6 months with tailored programming.

— Nathan, Military Officer
